We offer taxi tours (for up to 4 people) in and around the area of Chania, extending to Iraklio for visits to Knossos (if you are based in Chania). Taxi tours can last as long as the customer wishes. Visitors are picked up and dropped off from their hotel. A typical taxi tour in and around the Chania region lasts 4-6 hours and can include all the things Greece is well known for:
- a monastery visit, taking in Greek Orthodox church design and iconography
- an agricultural production area: Crete is the largest producer of extra virgin olive oil in Greece
- a visit to an off-the-beaten-track village: mountain villages are a highlight of a Greek holiday)
- a drive through a gorge: Crete has many gorges - you don't need to walk down them!
- a beach: the sea is a very important element of a Greek holiday
- an optional lunch/refreshments/snack stop at a traditional Cretan 'taverna' which can cater for all tastes including vegetarian meals (Greek food is well known for variety)
